Motivation
You
are a wonderful, fabulous person. You are beautiful in every size, but
it is important that you see your own beauty and feel good. If you feel
you are not fit enough, want to wear these cute tiny clothes your
friends wear, or you just get tired easily and are not as healthy as
you could be it’s time to lose your weight.
If
you’re reading this, you have probably tried dozens of diets. You lost
few pounds just to gain them again and again. What you lack is
motivation. Here are some motivation tips that can help you shred these
pounds and be ready for summer.
1. Do it for yourself!
Don’t lose weight just because somebody thinks you’re too heavy. Don’t
let skinny propaganda make you feel ugly. Lose weight to feel better,
to be even more amazing than you are now.
2. Find a friend,
who wants to do it together. Studies show that you are much more likely
to reach your goals if you talk about them, discuss them with friends.
So go together to the gym, run around the block, or at least find
friends online, who will be willing to talk to you about your diet and
exercise plan.
3. Plan your meals ahead of time.
Try to eat in, so you don’t intake so many empty calories. Pack your
food the previous day, count calories and don’t forget about a healthy
snack!
4. Eliminate liquid calories.
You don’t feel you ate anything, so you’re still hungry but your
calorie intake grows rapidly. Did you know that a glass of orange juice
is packed with sugar and has about 180 calories? You don’t want these
calories to go in your hips, do you?
5. Take one day at a time. Don’t overstress about your long-term goals. Think only about today, your meal and exercise plan.
6. Go slow.
Weight loss is about lifetime change. You gained these pounds slowly,
so you can’t lose them overnight, so don’t starve. Learn about healthy
foods and exercise. This will make you not only skinnier but more
energetic and happy.
7. Setbacks happen.
So you ate this chocolate ice cream calorie bomb and you feel guilty.
Well, nobody is perfect! Or did you just reach a plateau and even
though you are doing everything right you did not lose a pound in
weeks. That’s ok! Just follow you plan and weight loss will occur. |
